End Week 17

2,311 Hands
12,833 Hands Week 17 Total

This week was pretty nuts as far as swings were concerned. Unfortunately I didn't much of anything, but it could have been a lot worse if it wasn't for last nights heroics.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1256981 Good fold, unfortunate result.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1256982 This guy pretty much gifted me his stack.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1256989 I play with this guy a lot, and his shove was instant. His range was pretty wide here. Pretty sick flop for him.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1256992 Sweet!

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1256994 This guy really got torched. Nice min raise fuckhead!

There was another hand where I folded QQ on a 9Tx flop. A guy raised and just called my 3 bet and insta shoved the flop. He had a set actually, I put him on a KK-AA. Damn pokertracker.

Yesterday's Net +$1,089
Week 17 Total +$27 + $168 Rakeback = +$195
Total Goal Left $5,454

Hand 1 - I don't know that I'm giving an opp credit for 33 or 77 right away, certainly it's in the caller's range along with a flush draw and maybe QA.

Hand 4 - Bet the turn here ? The combination of your monster draw and fold equity.

Hand 5 - I like your turn bet.

First hand seemed obvious with the timing of the bets and stuff.

In hand 4 it came down to me not wanting to commit on the turn and/or get blown off my hand when someone may also be drawing weaker.

If they are drawing weaker then you are getting some value from that.

Also, I wouldn't be too concerned with getting blown off the hand. You are going to call any raise that isn't huge with your draw. I'd be curious to know the percentage of times an opp raises in position after just calling a big flop bet at a 9handed low stakes table on a similar board. I would guess less than 25% of the time. Much more calling and folding w/ middle pair, 99, JK etc.
