You're a much better player than I am, so just take my comments on your hands as "thinking out loud" ok ? ;)
Hand 2: I am folding this preflop unless my image is really tight and I can take down the blinds uncontested. As played, it's hard to get away from I know, but I don't think I'm going to put my stack at risk here, particularly on a monotone flop like this.
Last hand: I've just played a hand like this (I had KK and there was a J on the flop) In my case, villain had a shortish stack, and made a min-raise too. I played it exactly the same way, and villain had AJ, so without a specific read, I'm getting it all-in here too. Overpair vs set is so hard to get away from...
All the other hands: Yeah pretty standard, not much you can do. You ran bad. It's variance. It'll pass, just concentrate on trying to lose the minimum ;)
GL :)
hand 2 vs eeman is tough. He is a player i respect a lot and is a winning player who doesn't get out of line. I don't know what else you coulda done diff but once he calls your turn lead you are toast. You prob shouldn't have shoved the river. vs this villain river is check fold.
goober
Thanks for the comments guys.
I'm all for raising this hand doublemeup. I'm very comfortable playing this hand post flop for the most part, and I treat this hand just a little less than JTs.
I still dont have PAhud up and didnt have any notes on the opp, but i really felt like he had a big time combo draw with a pair based on his timing.
Like i said before, i really liked my line up until the river. I guess im better off check calling instead, and would probably have gotten a free showdown in this situation.
