Today was tough. I was set up a WHOLE lot, and had several monster vs. monsters, but I really made some necessary laydowns and took home a modest win to say the least. Here's a look.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1134705 My opp turned over A5 at the end of this hand, so I felt really good about my laydown. I can beat his ace ranges 6:5, but his insta pot river was a give away. Money saved.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1134714 I'm just not sure what I can beat here. JJ and TT are possible, but I really put him on a big pair or a set. This board is relatively dry considering his raising position. I think he's trapping with a big pair.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1134716 Again, this insta-shove screams big pair. I'm just not going broke on a board this dry. I'd feel worse about this check fold, but during play, it just seemed ridiculously obvious. If I can't trust my reads I should choose a different game.
Other than this I got stacked with KK vs AA when I button raised and the SB reraise. We got it AIPF. Also I had 33 vs TT on T83 all one suit. O well.
This week I hardly played. I was moving back home to NY and didn't have much time to play. That's ok. I'm all set up now and ready to get into a groove.

qq is such an easy fold on that last hand vs teasin brown. he isn't getting out of line much. His line sucks but anyways.

Yeah I mean, His shove was INSTA, so whatever. Lost like nothing there.
